Job Description: Network Engineer – IT
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in networking technologies, certifications such as CCNA or CCNP, and a strong understanding of Cisco products. This role demands a proactive individual capable of maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting complex network systems while adhering to the highest standards of reliability and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support on-premises IT infrastructure across data center locations, including servers, virtualization platforms, and networking components.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco collaboration platforms including Cisco Meeting Server (CMS), Cisco Meetings Management (CMM), and VQ Conference Manager (VQCM).
- Configure and manage Cisco and Pfsense firewalls and switches to ensure robust network security.
- Manage VMware ESXi hosts and virtual machines supporting production and testing workloads.
- Administer and maintain virtualization platforms like Proxmox.
- Configure and maintain secure network connectivity, including IPsec VPN tunnels to cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
- Set up and manage remote network access solutions such as Cisco-any connect and Perimeter81.
- Provide technical support for Azure/O365 and cloud infrastructure.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Windows machines and Active Directory / LDAP environments.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve complex collaboration-related incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and third-party service providers to improve service quality and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- CCNA or CCNP certification.
- Hands‑on experience managing VMware ESXi virtualization environments.
- Practical experience supporting Cisco collaboration technologies, including CMS, CMM, VQCM, and Expressway components.
- Strong understanding of on-premises infrastructure, including servers, networking, and data center operations.
- Experience with Pfsense firewalls and dell switches.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies like Proxmox.
- Understanding of remote access solutions such as Perimeter81 and Anyconnect
- Basic knowledge on Azure/O365 and cloud infrastructures.
- Proficiency in managing and supporting Windows machines.
- Familiarity with IT support workflows and ticketing systems.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to clearly explain technical architectures and configurations.
