Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to build and grow our network of architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and turnkey firms in Hyderabad. The role focuses on managing partner relationships, generating new business opportunities, driving customer referrals, and increasing footfall to Material Depot Experience Centers.
Key Responsibilities
● Build and manage relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, and design studios.
● Onboard new partners and expand Material Depot's B2B network.
● Drive repeat business, referrals, and revenue growth through partner engagement.
● Encourage partners to bring their clients to Material Depot Experience Centers for product selection.
● Conduct a minimum of 6 client meetings/visits daily.
● Own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
● Maintain accurate CRM records of visits, leads, and opportunities.
● Share market insights, competitor activities, and customer feedback with the team..
Requirements
● 2+ years of experience in B2B Sales, Key Account Management, Channel Sales, or Business Development.
● Proven experience working with architects, interior designers, builders, contractors, dealers, or channel partners.
● Telugu language proficiency is preferred.
● Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
● Comfortable with extensive field work and client meetings.
● Experience in building materials, interiors, home décor, construction, tiles, laminates, sanitaryware, paints, or related industries is preferred.
● Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
