Job Description
NTA UGC NET Academy Chandigarh is urgently hiring experienced and result-oriented UGC NET Faculty for the following subjects:
- UGC NET Commerce Faculty
- UGC NET Sociology Faculty
- UGC NET Psychology Faculty
We are looking for passionate educators who have strong command over their subject and can effectively prepare students for UGC NET, JRF and Assistant Professor eligibility examinations.
Candidates from Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula (Tricity) will be given preference.
The ideal candidate should have excellent conceptual knowledge, strong classroom teaching skills and a thorough understanding of the latest UGC NET syllabus, examination pattern, Previous Year Questions (PYQs), MCQs and preparation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach UGC NET Paper 2 for Commerce, Sociology or Psychology.
- Deliver engaging classroom and/or online lectures.
- Cover the complete UGC NET syllabus systematically.
- Explain concepts from basic to advanced level.
- Prepare students for UGC NET and JRF examinations.
- Discuss and solve UGC NET Previous Year Question Papers (PYQs).
- Conduct topic-wise tests, unit tests and mock examinations.
- Prepare MCQs, assignments, practice questions and revision material.
- Analyse students' test performance and identify weak areas.
- Conduct regular doubt-clearing and revision sessions.
- Develop updated notes, PPTs and academic content.
- Keep teaching content aligned with the latest NTA UGC NET syllabus and examination pattern.
- Guide students regarding examination strategy, time management and question-solving techniques.
- Maintain high academic and teaching standards.
- Support students in achieving NET/JRF qualification.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates should preferably have:
- Master's Degree in the relevant subject.
- Strong academic background in Commerce, Sociology or Psychology.
- Excellent command over the respective UGC NET Paper 2 syllabus.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple and student-friendly manner.
- Experience teaching competitive examination students.
- Knowledge of UGC NET Previous Year Questions and current examination trends.
- Ability to teach both offline and online classes.
- Strong student mentoring and doubt-solving skills.
Preferred Candidates
Preference will be given to candidates who:
- Have qualified UGC NET / JRF in the respective subject.
- Hold or are pursuing a PhD.
- Have previous experience as a UGC NET Faculty / Assistant Professor / Lecturer / Competitive Exam Faculty.
- Have produced good UGC NET/JRF results.
- Have experience preparing study material, mock tests and MCQs.
- Are comfortable with digital teaching tools, PPTs and online classes.
- Are available to join immediately.
- Are based in Chandigarh, Mohali or Panchkula.
