Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer – Interior to oversee the execution of interior fit-out projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising on-site activities, coordinating with project stakeholders, ensuring quality workmanship, and delivering projects within established timelines and budgets. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and a hands-on approach to site management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities to ensure project execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the design team, project managers, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, track timelines, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures at the project site.
- Verify site measurements and inspect incoming materials for quality and specification compliance.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, and other site personnel.
- Prepare and maintain daily site reports, progress reports, attendance records, and project documentation.
- Resolve site-related technical issues and provide timely updates to clients and project stakeholders.
- Conduct quality inspections, snagging activities, and coordinate final project handover.
- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, materials, and resources while maintaining project schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in interior fit-out or interior site execution projects.
- Strong understanding of interior construction methods, working drawings, BOQs, and site execution processes.
- Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture installation, and MEP coordination.
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
