Job Purpose
To design, coordinate, and implement learning and development initiatives that enhance employee performance, service excellence, leadership capabilities, and overall guest satisfaction. The role is responsible for driving the hotel's training culture, ensuring compliance with brand standards, and supporting talent development programs.
Key Responsibilities Training & Development
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across all departments.
- Prepare and execute the annual training calendar.
- Facilitate induction and orientation programs for new team members.
- Conduct operational, behavioral, service excellence, and soft skills training sessions.
- Ensure all employees complete mandatory brand and compliance trainings.
- Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance improvements.
Brand & Service Culture
- Drive brand standards and service culture initiatives.
- Facilitate programs such as "Yes I Can!", guest engagement, and customer service excellence.
- Support departmental trainers and develop internal training champions.
Leadership Development
- Identify high-potential employees and support succession planning initiatives.
- Coordinate supervisory and leadership development programs.
- Coach department heads and supervisors on training best practices.
Training Administration
- Maintain training records, attendance, reports, and learning management systems.
- Prepare monthly training reports and training metrics.
- Track training hours and compliance percentages.
- Ensure training documentation is audit-ready.
Employee Engagement
- Support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and talent development initiatives.
- Organize learning campaigns, awareness programs, and development workshops.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning throughout the hotel.
Compliance & Quality
- Conduct trainings related to POSH, Fire & Life Safety, Food Safety, Grooming Standards, and Code of Conduct.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and brand guidelines.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in Learning & Development within the hospitality industry.
- Experience in conducting classroom and on-the-job training programs.
- Exposure to hotel operations and service standards preferred.
Required Skills
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Training content creation and instructional design.
- Knowledge of hospitality operations and guest service standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
