We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and highly skilled Commis 1 to join our Indian Kitchen team. In this role, you will assist senior chefs with daily food preparation, execute authentic Indian recipes, and ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience working in an Indian kitchen within a premium hotel or fine-dining restaurant environment.
- Skill Set: Deep knowledge of regional Indian spices, base gravies, tempering (tadka), and traditional tandoor/grill techniques.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts is preferred.
- Work Ethic: Ability to stand for long hours, work in a fast-paced environment, and operate efficiently under pressure.
