About the Role
Vacations Madcap is looking for an enthusiastic AI & Automation Intern with a strong interest and basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and AI Agents. The intern will be responsible for exploring, developing, testing, and implementing practical AI solutions that can improve our travel business operations.
The role will involve working closely with our team to identify opportunities where AI can enhance productivity, automate repetitive tasks, and improve processes across sales, operations, marketing, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build & Manage AI Gems / AI Agents
- Create, test, optimize, and manage custom AI Gems, AI Agents, and AI-powered workflows.
- Develop AI solutions for travel itinerary creation, destination research, visa information, customer queries, sales support, and internal workflows.
- Continuously test and improve AI solutions based on business requirements and team feedback.
2. Automate Travel Agency Workflows
- Identify repetitive and time-consuming tasks across sales, operations, marketing, and customer service.
- Develop and implement AI-powered automations to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
- Help automate processes related to lead management, data handling, reporting, customer communication, and internal workflows.
3. Research & Implement AI Tools
- Research and evaluate the latest AI tools, platforms, integrations, and automation solutions relevant to the travel industry.
- Identify practical AI use cases that can improve our business processes and team productivity.
- Assist in implementing AI solutions for content creation, lead management, data processing, reporting, and workflow automation.
4. AI Innovation & Experimentation
- Explore new Generative AI tools, technologies, and use cases.
- Experiment with different AI platforms and workflows to identify effective solutions for the business.
- Work on practical AI projects that can be tested and implemented within the organization.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI
- Familiarity with ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar AI platforms
- Understanding of AI Agents, AI Gems, and AI automation
- Basic knowledge of Python, APIs, or automation tools is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn, experiment, and explore new AI technologies
- Good communication and documentation skills
