We are looking for a Thrissur-based SolidWorks Design Intern to support mechanical design, 3D modeling, assemblies, and product development.
This role is for someone who wants real design experience beyond tutorial projects.
Responsibilities
- Create 3D CAD models and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Convert concepts and sketches into manufacturable designs
- Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and documentation
- Support prototype development and design improvements
- Work on sheet metal, mechanical parts, enclosures, fixtures, and assemblies
- Modify existing designs based on testing feedback
- Maintain design files and revisions
- Collaborate with fabrication and hardware teams
Requirements
- Applicant must be from Thrissur only
- Mechanical / Mechatronics / Automobile / Production / Design students preferred
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SolidWorks
- Understanding of assemblies, dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing basics
- Ability to think practically—not only make visually good CAD models
- Portfolio or sample designs preferred
Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
