Key Responsibilities
Electrical Design & Engineering
- Prepare and review electrical schematics, control circuit diagrams, power distribution drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Design PLC Panels, MCC Panels, PCC Panels, VFD Panels, and Control Panels.
- Develop General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, Terminal Layouts, Cable Schedules, and Interconnection Drawings.
- Prepare and verify Bill of Materials (BOMs) and component selection.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications, customer requirements, and applicable standards.
Engineering Documentation
- Create and maintain engineering documentation using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar software.
- Review and approve design drawings prepared by junior engineers.
- Manage drawing revisions and document control processes.
- Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and engineering reports.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Automation Engineers, Procurement Teams, Production Teams, and Customers.
- Participate in design review meetings and technical discussions.
- Provide engineering support during project execution and manufacturing.
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and project handover activities.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all designs comply with IEC, NEC, UL, CE, and applicable industrial standards.
- Conduct design verification and quality reviews.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during design, manufacturing, and installation stages.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
Technical Leadership
- Guide and mentor junior design engineers.
- Support engineering process improvements and standardization initiatives.
- Assist in developing design standards and best practices within the organization.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Electrical Design Engineering for Industrial Automation Projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent electrical design software.
- Experience in designing:
- PLC Control Panels
- MCC Panels
- PCC Panels
- VFD Panels
- Automation Control Systems
- Ability to prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, GA drawings, and cable schedules.
- Knowledge of electrical protection systems, motor control circuits, and industrial power distribution.
- Strong understanding of control panel manufacturing processes.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Siemens Automation Systems:
- Siemens PLC (S7-1200, S7-1500)
- TIA Portal
- WinCC SCADA
- Siemens HMI
- Siemens Drives
- Knowledge of Industrial Communication Protocols:
- PROFINET
- PROFIBUS
- Modbus
- OPC-UA
- Experience in Turnkey Industrial Automation Projects.
- Familiarity with IEC, NEC, UL, CE, and other relevant standards.
Pay: ₹40,804.14 - ₹87,817.72 per month
