An Electronics Engineer designs, develops, and tests electronic components, circuits, and integrated systems. Responsibilities include creating schematic designs, building PCB prototypes, writing firmware, and running diagnostic tests. Candidates typically need a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and proficiency in simulation and design software.
Core Responsibilities
- Circuit Design & Prototyping: Design analog and digital circuits, draft technical schematics, and develop printed circuit board (PCB) layouts.
- Testing & Validation: Develop test control equipment and execute root cause analysis on hardware failures.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all electronic devices meet industry regulations, safety guidelines, and EMC/EMI requirements.
- Firmware Development: Write embedded code and integrate software with hardware systems using languages like C, C++, or Python.
- Documentation: Write technical specifications, user instructions, and day-to-day operation reports.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Minimum Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), B.Tech, or Master's in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and simulation software like SPICE, Altium Designer, MATLAB, or AutoCAD.
- Technical Competency: Deep understanding of semiconductor devices, microcontrollers, signal processing, and digital logic design.
- Soft Skills: Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills, accompanied by strong cross-functional communication.
