Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Production Manager to support and oversee garment production operations for our high-fashion export manufacturing unit in Greater Noida. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved while coordinating with cross-functional departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Manager in planning and executing daily production schedules.
- Monitor production lines to ensure smooth operations and timely order completion.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, Quality, and Dispatch departments.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining buyer quality standards.
- Monitor line efficiency, manpower utilization, and production output.
- Resolve production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare daily production reports, WIP reports, and MIS.
- Ensure compliance with factory SOPs, safety standards, and buyer requirements.
- Minimize production delays, rework, and material wastage.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize machine breakdowns.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate/Diploma in Apparel Manufacturing, Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in garment manufacturing, preferably in a high-fashion export house.
- Experience handling woven and/or knit garments.
- Strong knowledge of garment production processes, line balancing, and production planning.
- Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and production reporting.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience working with export buyers.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict production deadlines.
Job Details
- Location: Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Salary: ₹45,000 – ₹70,000 per month (depending on experience and skills)
- Joining: Immediate / As per notice period
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in high-fashion garment exports who are looking to grow into a Production Manager position.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
