We are seeking a highly skilled IT System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, networking, and troubleshooting, and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our servers, networks, and other IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Management: Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and other IT hardware and software. Ensure the availability and performance of the company’s IT infrastructure.
- Network Administration: Oversee network operations, including the configuration and management of firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs. Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
- User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving user account problems.
- Security: Implement and manage security measures to protect IT systems and data, including antivirus software, firewalls, and access controls. Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Backup and Recovery: Manage backup processes and disaster recovery plans. Regularly test backup systems and ensure data integrity and availability.
- System Upgrades: Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and updates. Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during maintenance activities.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Prepare reports on system performance and issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and systems. Assist with IT projects as needed.
