seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Critical Care Anesthesia to lead clinical care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). You will be responsible for the management of critically ill patients, performing complex procedures, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical outcomes in a high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Management: Provide 24/7 care for critically ill patients, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and bedside ultrasound.
- Procedures: Perform complex procedures, including central venous line insertion, arterial line placement, fiber-optic bronchoscopy, and percutaneous tracheostomy.
- Collaboration: Lead multidisciplinary rounds and coordinate with surgical, medical, and specialized teams to provide integrated patient care.
- Emergency Response: Act as a senior member of the Rapid Response or Code Blue team.
- Governance: Ensure strict adherence to clinical protocols, infection control guidelines, and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education: MBBS + MD/DNB in Anesthesiology OR MD/DNB in General Medicine/Chest Medicine/Emergency Medicine.
- Specialization: IDCCM (Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine), IFCCM, or DM/DrNB in Critical Care Medicine is highly preferred.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in managing multi-disciplinary ICUs (Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, or Trauma).
- Licensure: Valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Skills: Expert knowledge in mechanical ventilation, advanced hemodynamics, and critical care pharmacology.
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
