We are a hiring for our client company, its a Engineering Company
Location: Ellis bridge, Ahmedabad
Experience: 4-8 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare design and detailed engineering drawings for hydro-mechanical equipment such as gates, hoists, penstocks, trash racks, stoplogs, and related structures.
- Perform design calculations, material selection, and structural analysis as per project requirements and applicable standards.
- Develop GA drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of hydro-mechanical systems.
- Review vendor drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing documents for compliance with project requirements.
- Support procurement activities by preparing technical specifications and evaluating vendor offers.
- Provide technical assistance during fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
- Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and technical discussions.
- Prepare engineering documentation, reports, calculation sheets, and project records.
Key Skills
- Hydro-mechanical equipment design
- AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD software
- Engineering calculations and structural analysis
- Technical documentation and drawing preparation
- Knowledge of dam, hydropower, and water resource projects
- Problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills
