Key Responsibilities:
- SAM Calculation: Perform Standard Allowed Minutes (SAM) calculations for various styles and processes to ensure accurate time and cost estimations.
- Production Planning: Assist in production planning and scheduling to maximize capacity utilization and minimize downtime.
- Cutting & Finishing: Oversee and improve cutting and finishing operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Costing: Lead the costing process by analyzing labor, material, and overhead costs, while working closely with the finance team to set cost-effective pricing.
- Fabric Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various fabric types, their properties, and their impact on production costs and efficiency.
- Fabric Costing: Accurately calculate fabric consumption and its related cost, ensuring alignment with project budgets.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards across the production process.
