Essential Requirements
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field/ BE Mechanical
· Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally familiar with press shop
processes (stator/DCR production).
Core Skills & Knowledge
· Time Study & Standards: Advanced ability to conduct time studies and establish clear, accurate work standards.
· Familiarity with 5S methodology and an understanding of safety management techniques.
· IE Tools: Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die), and identifying the types of manufacturing waste.
· Data Analysis: Proficiency in collecting and analysing production data, typically using Excel, to identify bottlenecks and trends.
· Layout Design: Competency in using CAD software for planning and designing facility layouts to optimize flow.
· Ability to effectively lead and facilitate Kaizen events and other continuous improvement projects.
· Understanding of ergonomics principles to improve operator safety and reduce fatigue.
· Fabrication Support: Basic knowledge of material estimation and simple fabrication design/drawing.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead projects to implement SMED for reducing changeover times.
· Analyse existing work methods and develop improved processes to reduce cycle time.
· Design and update facility layouts and material handling systems.
· Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, etc.).
· Provide support and evaluation for the production incentive scheme.
· Mentor and train team members on industrial engineering principles.
Pay: ₹19,682.27 - ₹56,764.75 per month
