We are a growing manufacturing company specializing in industrial gears, gearboxes, couplings, speed reducers, and related power transmission components. We serve heavy machinery, cranes, textile, and other industrial sectors across India.
We are urgently hiring a motivated Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development Executive to drive new business growth. This is a high-impact role combining deep technical expertise with proactive sales (cold calling, lead generation, and closing deals). We are open to a revenue-sharing model for the right candidate - earn a strong percentage of the revenue you generate, with unlimited upside for top performers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new enquiries and leads through cold calling, email outreach, industry networking, and targeted prospecting (focus on manufacturers, and end-users needing gears, gearboxes, couplings, speed reducers, etc.).
- Provide technical consultations: Understand customer applications, recommend suitable products (gears, helical/bevel/planetary gearboxes, flexible/rigid couplings, speed reducers), and solve technical queries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities.
- Negotiate terms, and close sales orders.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and report progress.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and applications in power transmission.
Requirements:
- 3–8 years of experience in technical sales or business development in the industrial power transmission sector (gearboxes, gears, couplings, motors, speed reducers, or similar products).
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial gears, gearboxes (helical, worm, SMSR, etc.), couplings, speed reducers, and their applications.
- Proven track record of generating enquiries, cold calling, and closing B2B industrial sales.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (Hindi + English; regional languages a plus).
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with travel within NCR/India as needed.
- BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
