Job Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end procurement activities in accordance with company procurement policies and procedures, including Purchase Order (PO) issuance and invoice matching.
- Verify material and service deliveries against approved purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, favorable commercial terms, and timely delivery schedules.
- Support RFQ (Request for Quotation) activities and procurement requirements from project teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in vendor evaluation, qualification, and registration processes.
- Contribute to global supply chain enhancement initiatives through data-driven procurement processes, SOP implementation, and digital procurement systems.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Monitor supplier performance and take proactive measures to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Projects, Logistics, Finance, and other departments to ensure timely procurement and project execution.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager from time to time.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 6–10 years of procurement experience within EPC, engineering, manufacturing, oil & gas, chemical, or industrial project environments.
- Strong understanding of material costing, vendor management, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ/BQ).
- Experience in sourcing technical equipment, materials, and services for project-based operations.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, planning, and communication skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and ERP platforms.
- Knowledge of local procurement regulations, codes, and industry practices.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and commitment to achieving procurement objectives.
Preferred Skills
- EPC project procurement experience.
- Knowledge of international sourcing and global supply chain management.
- Experience with vendor performance evaluation and supplier development.
- Exposure to digital procurement tools and ERP systems.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
