We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Casualty Medical Officer (CMO) to join our emergency department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations, ensuring timely diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and manage patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries in the casualty/emergency department
Provide immediate life-saving interventions and stabilize critically ill patients
Perform initial diagnosis, treatment, and necessary procedures
- Coordinate with specialists and nursing staff for further management
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and emergency care standards
- Handle medico-legal cases as per guidelines
- Participate in emergency drills and continuous medical education
Qualifications & Requirements:
MBBS (Mandatory)
Valid Medical Council Registration
- Experience in casualty/emergency department preferred
- Strong clinical and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
