Job Summary
The Assistant General Manager – HR is responsible for leading the Human Resources function by aligning HR strategies with business objectives. The role oversees the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, payroll coordination, compliance, learning & development, and HR operations. The AGM – HR partners with senior management to build a high-performing and people-centric organisation.
Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Partner with business leaders on workforce planning and organisational development.
- Lead and mentor the HR team.
- Drive HR process improvements and digital initiatives.
2. Talent Acquisition
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all levels.
- Develop sourcing strategies and employer branding initiatives.
- Ensure timely closure of open positions.
3. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure a positive employee experience throughout the lifecycle.
4. Performance Management
- Drive the annual performance appraisal process.
- Support managers in goal setting and performance reviews.
- Implement succession planning and talent development initiatives.
5. Employee Engagement
- Plan engagement activities and employee welfare programmes.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
6. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll inputs, and HR audits.
- Develop and update HR policies and SOPs.
7. Learning & Development
- Identify training needs and prepare annual training calendars.
- Coordinate technical, behavioural, and leadership development programmes.
- Evaluate training effectiveness.
8. Compensation & Benefits
- Support salary benchmarking and annual compensation reviews.
- Monitor employee benefits and statutory compliances.
- Coordinate payroll processing with the Finance team.
9. HR Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare HR dashboards and MIS reports.
- Analyse attrition, recruitment, absenteeism, and productivity metrics.
- Present HR insights to senior management for decision-making.

Experience
10–15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial leadership role.
Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Indian Labour Laws and Statutory Compliance
Pay: From ₹70,000.00 per month
