Job Summary
The Hotel Accountant is responsible for managing the hotel's financial records, ensuring accurate accounting practices, monitoring revenue and expenses, preparing financial reports, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. The role supports the hotel's financial health through effective budgeting, auditing, and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Monitor hotel revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and hotel accounts.
- Process vendor payments and maintain supplier records.
- Prepare and file statutory taxes and financial documents as required.
- Monitor guest billing, room revenue, restaurant revenue, and other hotel income.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Verify payroll records and employee reimbursements.
- Maintain asset registers and inventory records.
- Coordinate with external auditors and financial consultants when required.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government regulations.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification is an advantage.
- Previous experience in hotel accounting or hospitality finance preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Working Conditions
- Full-time position.

Salary
Salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and company policies.
Pay: Up to ₹16,000.00 per month
