About the Role
Kickass Media is hiring a talented Short-Form Videographer & Editor to join our team full-time in Bengaluru. You'll create high-impact, scroll-stopping content across two verticals: Food & Beverage (F&B) brand content and Music Pandits student performance videos.

Key Responsibilities
- Shoot short-form video content on-site for F&B brands and Music Pandits student performances
- Operate a Sony DSLR or phone and gimbal confidently to capture smooth, dynamic footage in fast-paced environments
- Edit videos end-to-end in DaVinci Resolve — cuts, color grading, pacing, and transitions
- Design and integrate sound effects (SFX) and sync music to elevate storytelling and engagement
- Collaborate with the creative/marketing team to conceptualize platform-specific content ideas (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
- Manage footage organization, backups, and project files
- Stay current on short-form content trends and adapt style/format accordingly
- Turn around edits quickly to meet content publishing schedules
Requirements
- Proven experience shooting and editing short-form video content (portfolio/reel required)
- Hands-on proficiency with Sony DSLR cameras and gimbal stabilizers
- Strong working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve (color grading, editing, audio mixing)
- Experience sourcing/designing SFX and syncing audio to visuals
- A strong eye for pacing, rhythm, and short-form/social content trends
- Ability to work independently on-site and manage multiple shoots/edits per week
Preferred (Bonus)
- Experience shooting food content
- Experience shooting live performances or events
