Job Summary
The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Velocity Nightlife Lounge & Bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, smooth service flow, staff supervision, and compliance with company standards. The role requires strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage a high-energy nightlife environment. Responsibilities typically include supervising service staff, coordinating with bartenders, hosts, security, and DJs, handling guest concerns, monitoring floor operations, and maintaining a safe and vibrant atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all floor operations during service hours.
Supervise and coordinate bartenders, servers, hosts, stewards, and security staff.
Ensure guests receive prompt and professional service.
Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve complaints effectively.
Oversee table reservations, VIP guests, and special events.
Conduct pre-shift briefings and assign duties to staff.
Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and outlet presentation.
Coordinate with the bar team to ensure timely beverage service.
Monitor crowd flow and guest safety throughout operations.
Assist in achieving sales targets and maximizing revenue.
Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene standards, and legal regulations.
Prepare daily reports and communicate operational updates to management.
Support recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team members.
Handle cash, billing issues, and POS-related concerns when required.
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a lounge, bar, nightclub, or hospitality management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and guest-handling abilities.
Knowledge of bar operations and nightlife service standards.
Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Proficiency in POS systems and basic reporting.
Well-groomed, energetic, and customer-focused personality.
