Job Overview
We are looking for passionate and disciplined Commis 1, Commis 2 & Commis 3 – Continental to support daily kitchen operations and ensure consistent food quality, hygiene, and timely preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Continental dishes as per recipes, SOPs, and presentation standards.
- Assist in mise en place, preparation, portioning, plating, and service.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
- Follow FIFO, food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
- Maintain proper storage, labelling, and handling of ingredients.
- Monitor food wastage and ensure efficient use of raw materials.
- Support senior chefs during busy service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
- Follow daily production and prep schedules.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth operations.
Position-Wise Expectations
Commis 1
- Strong knowledge of Continental cooking and independent handling of assigned sections.
- Assist CDP/Sous Chef with production and service.
- Guide Commis 2 & 3 when required.
Commis 2
- Good understanding of Continental preparation and basic cooking techniques.
- Handle assigned prep and cooking tasks independently under supervision.
Commis 3
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, mise en place, and food preparation.
- Assist in cleaning, preparation, cutting, portioning, and basic cooking tasks.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 0–3 years in Continental kitchens.
- Culinary / Hotel Management qualification preferred.
- Experience in QSR, café, cloud kitchen, restaurant, or hospitality preferred.
- Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Positive attitude, discipline, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
