Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lift Technician with 2 years of experience in elevator and escalator installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient operation of lift systems while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection of elevators, lifts, and escalators.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns promptly.
- Install, test, and commission new lift systems when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and inspection documentation.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service activities and recommendations.
- Identify replacement parts and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Assist senior technicians and support team members during major repairs and modernization projects.
Requirements
- Diploma, ITI, or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in lift/elevator maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of lift control systems, motors, drives, sensors, and safety devices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
