We are seeking an experienced Django Developer with strong expertise in modern frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Django framework and proficiency in HTMX, Alpine.js, and SvelteKit.
Key RequirementsMust Have:
- Strong proficiency in Django (Python web framework)
- Hands-on experience with HTMX for dynamic HTML interactions
- Solid knowledge of Alpine.js for reactive frontend behavior
- Experience with SvelteKit for building modern web applications
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases
- Version control using Git
Good to Have:
- Experience with Django REST Framework
- Knowledge of Tailwind CSS
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar)
- Understanding of Docker and containerization
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Understanding of web security best practices
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust Django-based web applications
- Implement dynamic, interactive user interfaces using HTMX and Alpine.js
- Build modern web experiences with SvelteKit
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of professional experience with Django
- Proven track record of delivering web applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
