1. Daily roundup in the shop floor for maintaining 6S, Safety & Discipline. Capturing Abnormalities, Breakdown, Downtime & Reporting it on daily basis.
2. Maintaining data for OEE dashboard, Top Losses, Operator Efficiency, KPI’s etc.
3. Conducting weekly meetings of Supervisors for discussion on Setting time, Operator Efficiency, Rejection and CAPA.
4. Monitoring low operator efficiency, high setting time, high downtime & rejection in shop floor and its Improvement with involvement of supervisors and operators.
5. Improvement in Productivity by reducing cycle time of regular parts running in the shop floor or with new Tools/ Fixtures/ Techniques.
6. Identifying Poka-Yoke in the production processes, Continual Improvement, Cost Saving and Kaizens.
7. Independently handle shop floor in night shift by solving issues of supervisors, operators & helpers.
8. Organize trainings for subordinates including on the Job training.
9. Co-ordination with Production Incharge, Section HOD, Data Entry, Supervisors, Operators, Helpers and Cross Functional Team to ensure smooth functioning of the processes and operations.
10. Reporting to Production Incharge or section HOD immediately when you see any major problems related to Employees, Rejections, Machine Idle or any other which is of concern to the growth and development of the organization.
