IT System Administrator / IT Infrastructure Administrator
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced IT System Administrator to manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, user access management, networking, Group Policies, backups, LAN/WAN, firewalls, and IT security. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and uninterrupted IT operations and providing technical support to users.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory (AD), including:
- User and computer account creation, modification, and deletion.
- Organizational Units (OUs) and security groups.
- User authentication and access permissions.
- Password policies and account lockout management.
- Manage User ID and Access Management, including:
- Creation and deactivation of user IDs.
- Assigning appropriate roles and permissions.
- Access control for shared folders, applications, and systems.
- Employee onboarding and exit-related access management.
- Configure and administer Group Policies (GPOs) for users and computers.
- Manage LAN/WAN network infrastructure, including switches, routers, access points, and network connectivity.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and IP-related issues.
- Manage and maintain firewalls, including:
- Firewall rules and access policies.
- VPN configuration and access.
- Internet access control.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting security events.
- Manage data backup and recovery systems, including:
- Scheduled backups.
- Backup monitoring and verification.
- Restore testing.
- Disaster recovery procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Servers, workstations, printers, and other IT infrastructure.
- Manage file servers, shared folders, permissions, and network resources.
- Implement and maintain IT security policies, antivirus/endpoint protection, and access controls.
- Monitor system health, network availability, and infrastructure performance.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user-access issues.
- Maintain IT asset and infrastructure documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors/service providers for hardware, software, networking, firewall, and other IT-related requirements.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT incidents and user support requests.
- Maintain proper IT security, backup, access-control, and disaster-recovery practices.
- Support IT audits and maintain required technical documentation and records.
Required Skills & Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server.
- Hands-on experience with Group Policy (GPO).
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, routing, switching, LAN and WAN.
- Experience in managing firewalls and VPNs.
- Knowledge of user access and identity management.
- Experience with backup and restore solutions.
- Knowledge of Windows desktop and server troubleshooting.
- Understanding of network security and endpoint security.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to monitor and maintain IT infrastructure independently.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure/system administration.
- Certifications such as Microsoft, CCNA, Fortinet, Sophos, or equivalent will be an advantage.

- Ability to work independently and handle IT issues under time constraints.
- Strong focus on IT security, data protection, backup, and system availability.
- Willingness to support users and infrastructure during critical incidents when required.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
