Job Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the office, warehouse, factory, and other company premises. The role includes supervising housekeeping staff, coordinating repair and maintenance activities, recruiting housekeeping personnel, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained workplace.
Key Responsibilities1. Housekeeping Operations
- Supervise and monitor daily housekeeping activities across all company premises.
- Ensure offices, meeting rooms, washrooms, pantry, reception, warehouses, and common areas remain clean and hygienic.
- Prepare and implement housekeeping schedules and duty rosters.
- Conduct routine inspections to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Ensure proper use and storage of housekeeping equipment and chemicals.
- Maintain adequate stock of housekeeping materials and raise purchase requisitions when required.
2. Repair & Maintenance
- Coordinate routine and preventive maintenance of office infrastructure, furniture, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and civil works.
- Identify maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Liaise with external contractors and service providers for repair work.
- Maintain records of maintenance requests, AMC schedules, and service reports.
- Ensure all equipment and facilities remain operational and safe.
3. Staff Hiring & Management
- Recruit, train, and onboard housekeeping staff as per business requirements.
- Allocate duties and monitor staff performance.
- Ensure proper attendance, discipline, grooming, and productivity of housekeeping personnel.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend training where required.
- Arrange replacement manpower during absenteeism or increased workload.
4. Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance vendors.
- Verify work completion and service quality.
- Ensure vendors comply with company safety and quality standards.
5. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and report hazards.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste in accordance with company policies.
- Promote safe work practices among housekeeping staff.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain attendance and duty records of housekeeping staff.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping and maintenance reports.
- Maintain inventory records for housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Track maintenance expenses and assist in budget control.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management, Facility Management, or any relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in housekeeping or facility management.
- Experience in supervising housekeeping teams and managing facility maintenance.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
