DevSecOps Engineer - Specialist Engineering Job Family: Cybersecurity Job Sub Family: Cybersecurity Assessment & Testing The role will report to the SRE Team Lead working within an agile DevSecOps environment. The role will be responsible for the infrastructure supporting in-house and third-party tooling, testing and deployment of tools within the CSAT team and for the daily operations of the infrastructure supporting the CSAT services, as well as the monitoring and alerting associated with this, for which shift based work, as well as participation in on-call rotations, including weekends, may be required. The role will be accountable for the following: • Providing production support including incident management, first and second line support for user queries, management of shared mailbox and handling related communications with stakeholders. • Providing continuous support for existing content and automation running in the live environment, ensuring fast and quality driven bug fixes. • Managing daily operations of the infrastructure supporting the global CSAT solutions, including application and database servers, virtual machines, Kubernetes workloads and cloud-based resources. • Maintaining and monitoring the logging and monitoring services needed to ensure the smooth operation of the CSAT services. • Maintaining proper security posture of the infrastructure in use, including patching and updating of servers, analysis and remediation of new and open vulnerabilities, enforcement of security standards. • Designing, developing, implementing and maintaining workflow automation tools. • Preparing, testing and implementing changes in line with processes, providing post go-live support, and ensuring that DevOps have the appropriate documentation and training needed to ensure a successful, uneventful go-live. • Ensuring that issues raised in their area are solved and followed to conclusion. • Writing technical documents to support items that have been developed and delivered by the team. • Proposing new technologies and techniques to quickly and comprehensively identify vulnerable infrastructure and platforms. • Collaborating with stakeholders at various levels across Cybersecurity and other IT teams, to develop solutions that protect. • Acting as a Technical SME for the platforms hosting the Cybersecurity applications. • Providing SME input into new technology deployments and new features. • Acting as a coach and mentor for other team members. Essential Skillset/Experience: • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role within an agile delivery environment; • 5+ years of experience with cloud-based environments (GCP preferred); • 5+ years of experience of System Administration (e.g. configuring /managing servers, Linux/Windows); • 5+ years of experience of Incident and Change Management; • 3+ years of experience of CI/CD solution build up (GitHub/JIRA/Jenkins/Ansible); • 1+ years of experience of SQL (e.g. MSSQL, PostgreSQL). • Good working knowledge of GCP and GKE is required; good working knowledge of third-party cloud computing platforms such as Ali Cloud, AWS, Azure will be an advantage. • Good working knowledge of RHEL / Linux is required; familiarity with Python, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, IP networking, and Windows Server will be a significant advantage. • Experience implementing and maintaining highly scalable and resilient platforms and applications is required. • Experience working with virtualization, containers, secrets management, automation, scheduling and source code management technologies, such as Docker/Kubernetes, Hashicorp Vault, Terraform, Ansible Tower, GIT is expected. • Experience working with centralized logging, monitoring and alerting products such as Application Dynamics, Splunk and xMatters to proactively prevent outages and downtime is expected. • Experience working within an enterprise scale organisation; including hands-on experience of complex data centre and software delivery environments, preferably in the finance or similarly regulated sector will be an advantage. • Ability to follow and suggest improvements to operational procedures, workflows and processes to support the team in consistent and high-quality execution of issue monitoring and detection is required. • An Automation and Orchestration driven mindset is a must. • Good verbal and written communication skills will be an advantage. • Ability to work and lead in a fast paced, team focused environment with a proven track record of delivering and completing assigned tasks as an individual and as team is required. • Willingness to continuously learn, improve, and share learnings with others is required.
Pay: ₹323,489.75 - ₹1,717,275.06 per year
