Job Summary
Responsible for handling plant HR operations including blue-collar recruitment, time office management, payroll inputs, statutory compliance, grievance handling, absenteeism control, and employee relations for smooth shop-floor operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle recruitment of skilled, semi-skilled, and helper manpower.
- Manage attendance, overtime, leave, shift roster, and biometric records.
- Prepare payroll inputs including wages, overtime, deductions, and contractor attendance.
- Ensure compliance under Factory Act, PF, ESI, Bonus, CLRA, and other labour laws.
- Maintain statutory records, registers, and support compliance audits/inspections.
- Handle employee grievances, counselling, discipline, and shop-floor coordination.
- Monitor absenteeism and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare HR MIS reports related to manpower, attendance, and compliance.
- Coordinate with production and contractors for manpower planning and deployment.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliances.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong MS Excel and documentation skills.
- Experience in plant/shop-floor HR operations.
