Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Purchase cum Store Executive to join our team at Sewa Bharti Diagnostic & Dialysis Centre. In this role, you will handle both procurement (sourcing medical, diagnostic, and office supplies) and store management (maintaining accurate inventory levels, receiving stock, and handling internal distribution).
Key Responsibilities
*1. Purchase & Procurement:*
Vendor Management: Source reliable suppliers for diagnostic kits, dialysis consumables, and medical/office stationeries; collect quotations and negotiate the best rates.
Purchase Orders (PO): Raise and process Purchase Orders based on the daily or weekly requirements of labs, centers, and medical staff.
Coordination: Actively follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of all critical medical and non-medical supplies to avoid any operational delays.
*2. Store & Inventory Management:*
Material Receipt & Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, check batch details/expiry dates, and inspect for any damage against Invoices or Delivery Challans.
Stock Entry: Maintain accurate, real-time data logs of all incoming and outgoing inventory using Excel or ERP software.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels closely to prevent stock-outs of critical medical supplies while avoiding excess over-stocking.
Physical Audits: Conduct regular physical stock counts to match system data with shelf reality and report discrepancies.
*3. Documentation & Billing:*
Prepare Goods Received Notes (GRN) and forward verified bills to the accounts department for smooth payment clearance.
Maintain organized paperwork for tracking medical consumables, assets, and scrap/expired stock.
*Qualifications & Requirements*
Education: Graduate (B.Com, BBA, or B.Sc. preferred).
Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in Purchase and Store/Warehouse handling (Experience in a hospital, lab, or diagnostic centre is a major plus).
*Technical Skills:*
Good command over MS Excel (Data handling, basic formulas).
Familiarity with inventory tracking tools or basic ERP/Tally software.
Key Skills: Strong negotiation, high alertness regarding material expiry dates, and clear communication skills.
