Job Summary
The Senior Commercial Interior Designer will be responsible for developing innovative and functional design concepts for commercial interior projects, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with clients and project teams, and ensuring smooth execution as per approved designs and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop commercial interior design concepts as per client requirements and project budget.
- Prepare layout plans, 3D designs, mood boards, and material selection.
- Create and review working drawings, detailed drawings, and shop drawings for execution.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and vendors for approvals and design finalization.
- Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, safety standards, and fit-out norms.
- Support estimation team with BOQ preparation, material specifications, and rate analysis.
- Coordinate with execution team for site implementation and design feasibility.
- Conduct site visits for design verification, quality checks, and issue resolution.
- Handle design modifications, value engineering, and change requests.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
- Guide and manage junior designers and drafting team.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong knowledge of commercial interior fit-out execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Revit , Lumion, Photoshop.
- Good knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and false ceiling systems.
- Strong understanding of turnkey project workflow and coordination.
- Excellent communication and client presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
Qualification
- Degree/Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in office interiors, retail fit-outs, corporate spaces, and hospitality projects.
- Strong capability in handling end-to-end design coordination till handover.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
