V7 Defence Industries Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day accounting and finance activities of the company.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounting records, processing invoices and expenses, assisting with bank and ledger reconciliations, maintaining documentation, and supporting the Accounts & Finance team with regular financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update day-to-day accounting records.
- Record purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses, receipts, and payments.
- Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts and ledgers.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Verify invoices, bills, supporting documents, and payment details.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Prepare and maintain vouchers, bills, statements, and other accounting documents.
- Follow up with vendors and internal departments regarding invoices and payments.
- Assist in tracking outstanding receivables and payables.
- Support monthly and yearly closing activities.
- Assist in preparing basic accounting reports and MIS.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Assist the senior accounts team with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related documentation.
- Coordinate with other departments for finance and accounting requirements.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also be considered.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS will be an added advantage.
- Experience with Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel is preferred.
