1. Patient Care Management
- Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and quality nursing care.
- Monitor patient conditions and coordinate treatment plans with doctors and healthcare teams.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient records and nursing notes.
- Handle emergencies and critical situations promptly.
2. Staff Supervision
- Supervise, guide, and support nursing staff and ward attendants.
- Prepare duty rosters and allocate assignments.
- Monitor staff performance and provide training when needed.
- Maintain discipline and adherence to hospital protocols.
3. Ward Administration
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and infection control practices in the ward.
- Monitor availability of medicines, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain ward inventory and report shortages.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of ward equipment.
4. Communication & Coordination
- Liaise with doctors, departments, patients, and relatives.
- Conduct shift handovers and ensure continuity of care.
- Address patient complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Participate in ward meetings and quality improvement activities.
5. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and legal requirements.
- Implement infection prevention and control measures.
- Monitor patient safety indicators and incident reporting.
- Participate in audits and quality assurance programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license (as per local regulatory requirements).
- 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
