Position Summary:
YS College is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Assistant Professor in Computer Science to teach BCA and BA Computer Science students. The ideal candidate should meet the eligibility criteria set by AICTE and the affiliating university and possess a passion for innovative teaching and research.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Deliver engaging lectures on core computer science subjects, including Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, Web Development, Database Management, Networking, AI & ML, and Cybersecurity.
✅ Conduct hands-on lab sessions, coding workshops, and technical projects to enhance students’ practical understanding.
✅ Guide students on academic research, industry projects, internships, and career opportunities.
✅ Design modern teaching methodologies, incorporating case studies, real-world applications, and emerging trends in technology.
✅ Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and innovative assessment techniques.
✅ Participate in curriculum development, research activities, and academic collaborations.
✅ Stay updated with advancements in the IT industry and integrate technology-driven learning tools into teaching.
✅ Provide mentorship and career counseling to students, preparing them for industry placements and higher studies.
✅ Engage in faculty development programs, seminars, and institutional activities to enhance academic contributions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
✔Educational Qualification: Must fulfill AICTE and university norms (MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc. in Computer Science or related fields, preferably with NET/Ph.D.).
✔ Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, Web Technologies, Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and Data Science.
✔ Teaching & Research: Prior teaching experience in a recognized institution is preferred. Candidates with research publications or industry experience will be given an advantage.
✔ Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills with the ability to effectively engage students.
