The Material Coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely availability of materials required for production and assembly. The role involves coordinating between procurement, stores, suppliers, and production teams to prevent delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Track material requirements as per production schedules.
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with stores for material receipt and issue.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
- Maintain material tracking reports and BOM status.
- Support production by ensuring materials are available before assembly.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to resolve material-related issues.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in any discipline (Engineering preferred).
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.

- Material availability for production.
- On-time material procurement.
- Inventory accuracy.
- Reduction in production delays due to material shortages.
