Position: Fitter (Semi-Skilled Technician)
Location: Rourkela, Odisha
Minimum Qualification
- Higher Secondary (+2) passed, or
- ITI Certificate in Fitter, Mechanical, Pipe Fitter, or related trade.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of:
- Water Treatment Plants (WTP)
- Pump Houses
- Water piping and distribution systems
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of pumps, pipelines, valves, flanges, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Assist in routine inspection and preventive maintenance activities of WTP facilities.
- Perform pipe fitting, alignment, leak rectification, and replacement of damaged components.
- Support shutdown and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper functioning of mechanical equipment and report any abnormalities.
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards at the work site.
- Coordinate with operators and supervisors for smooth plant operation.
