- Debt Collection and Management.
- Develop and implement debt collection strategies to reduce outstanding debts and improve cash flow.
- Overseeing the credit sales activity and ensuring no deviations from the company policy.
- Review and monitor debtor accounts to identify overdue invoices and delinquent accounts.
- Contact debtors via phone, email, and available medium to negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding issues.
- Frequent and regular interactions/Follow up with Branch Managers on outstandings and recovery.
- Maintain accurate records of debtor communications and payment arrangements-Aging wise.
- Assess the credit worthiness of new and existing customers through credit checks and financial analysis.
- Recommend credit limits and terms to minimize risk while supporting sales growth.
- Design and Implement action plans for recovery of outstanding from highly aged debtors or long due debtors.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to address and rectify issues affecting debt collection.
- Prepare and present regular reports (Daily, weekly and Monthly) on debtor accounts, aged debt analysis, and collections progress to senior management.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve the debtor management process.
- Supervise and support team of debt collection and follow-up.
- Provide guidance, training, and motivation to ensure team targets and KPIs are met.
- Stay updated about relevant debt collection laws and regulations.
- Ensure that all debt collection activities are compliant with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, Internal or external parties associated.
