Nursing Superintendent

A reputed Super Speciality Hospital in Vadodara is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursing Superintendent to lead and oversee the hospital's nursing services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care, nursing operations, staff management, and compliance with quality and accreditation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the Nursing Department.
- Supervise and support Nursing Supervisors, Staff Nurses, and other nursing personnel.
- Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor nursing quality indicators and ensure compliance with hospital standards.
- Manage nursing manpower planning, duty rosters, and staffing requirements.
- Conduct nursing audits, training programs, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with medical consultants, department heads, and hospital management.
- Ensure adherence to NABH standards, infection control practices, and patient safety initiatives.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff.
- Handle patient grievances and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing preferred.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Minimum 8–12 years of nursing experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
- Experience in a multi-speciality or super speciality hospital preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Knowledge of NABH standards, nursing administration, and quality management systems.
Salary:
₹60,000 – ₹70,000 per month
