Responsibilities include hiring staff, analyzing profit and loss (P&L) statements, and executing merchandising plans
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Customer Service
- Drive store sales targets and promote special deals and commercial/wholesale programs.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and ensure the team delivers highly knowledgeable, professional service.
2. Inventory & Operations
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels, core returns, and minimal obsolescence.
- Manage shipping, receiving, and routine audits to reconcile physical stock with the computerized point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Monitor store vehicles, building security, and implement loss prevention procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Typically requires 2-5 years of retail management or sales supervision experience, preferably in the automotive aftermarket industry. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Knowledge: Sound understanding of automotive parts, inventory principles, and POS/retail software. [1, 2]
