Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Computer Coding Teacher to teach programming and computational thinking to students. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make coding engaging and easy to understand for learners of different age groups and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging coding and computer science lessons.
- Teach programming concepts such as logic, algorithms, variables, loops, functions, and problem-solving.
- Teach age-appropriate programming languages and platforms such as Scratch, Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, or robotics/coding tools.
- Develop practical projects, activities, assignments, and coding exercises.
- Help students understand programming concepts through hands-on learning.
- Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide additional support where required.
- Encourage creativity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and interactive classroom environment.
- Keep lesson plans, student records, and progress reports updated.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, programming tools, and teaching methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and other teachers when required.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of programming and computer fundamentals.
- Good understanding of coding concepts and computational thinking.

- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, student-friendly manner.

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching or coding certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience teaching school students or conducting coding workshops is preferred.
- Experience with educational coding platforms, robotics, or STEM programs is a plus.
