- Machine Setup: Secure workpieces, select appropriate cutting tools, and set optimal speeds, feeds, and depths.
- Operation: Perform operations such as turning, facing, threading, boring, and knurling to fabricate parts.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished components for accuracy against design specifications using micrometers, calipers, and precision gauges.
- Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance on lathes, clean work areas, and replace dull or broken cutting tools.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including wearing protective gear, securing machine guards, and reporting malfunctions.
