About the Role
We are looking for a curious and detail-oriented Junior Paid Search Marketer to join our team. In this role, you will help plan, build, manage, and optimise paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing), and Reddit Ads. You will work closely with the Director of Paid Search to drive qualified traffic, improve campaign efficiency, and contribute to measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Google Ads:
Assist in building and managing Search, Display, Shopping, and Performance Max
campaigns.
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search term audits.
Write and test ad copy variations; monitor Quality Scores and ad relevance.
Set up conversion tracking and audience lists using Google Tag Manager and Google.
Analytics 4:
Analyse performance data and suggest optimisations for bids, budgets, and targeting.
Microsoft Ads (Bing)
Import, manage, and independently optimise campaigns within the Microsoft Ads platform.
Identify platform-specific opportunities (demographic targeting, LinkedIn profile targeting).
Monitor impression share, auction insights, and search term reports.
Adapt creative assets and bid strategies to suit Bing audience behaviour.
Reddit Ads:
Support the creation and management of Promoted Post and Conversation Ad campaigns.
Research relevant subreddits and interest-based audiences for targeting.
Monitor community sentiment and ensure ads align with subreddit culture.
Track performance metrics including CPM, CPC, CTR, and conversion rates.
Reporting & Analytics:
Pull weekly and monthly performance reports across all platforms.
Build dashboards in Google Ads Account or similar reporting tools.
Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities; present findings to the team.
Maintain accurate records of campaign budgets, spend pacing, and results.
General:
Keep up to date with platform updates, new ad formats, and industry best practices.
Collaborate with content, creative, and SEO teams on landing pages and messaging.
Support A/B testing frameworks for ads, landing pages, and bidding strategies.
Assist with audience segmentation, remarketing lists, and customer match setups.
Requirements:
Essential:
Understanding of paid search (PPC) principles and the advertising funnel.
Familiarity with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, or Reddit Ads.
Comfortable working with data — able to read reports and draw simple conclusions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good written communication skills for ad copywriting and stakeholder updates.
A proactive, test-and-learn mindset.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Google Ads certification (Search, Shopping, or Display).
Microsoft Advertising certification.
Hands-on experience running campaigns — even for personal or freelance projects.
Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, or Triple Whale.
Understanding of conversion tracking, UTM parameters, and attribution models.
