Job Description – Area Sales Manager (ASM) | Pan India Role Overview
We are looking for dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Managers (ASM) with strong experience in the Telecom industry to drive sales performance and expand market presence across Pan India locations. The candidate will be responsible for managing sales operations, leading teams, and achieving business growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle overall sales operations within the assigned territory.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Plan and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities and ensure proper market coverage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements to support business planning.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and share performance updates with management.
- Ensure team productivity through regular training, guidance, and performance monitoring.
- Maintain high standards of operational efficiency and sales discipline in the assigned region.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- 4–20 years of relevant sales experience in the Telecom industry (mandatory).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Good understanding of regional markets across India.
- Target-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
