Job Summary
Sri Lakshmi Automobiles is looking for a responsible and punctual Driver to safely transport staff, customers, documents, and vehicles as required. The ideal candidate should have a valid driving license, good knowledge of local routes, and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive company vehicles for official duties.
- Transport staff, customers, and materials to designated locations.
- Pick up and deliver documents, spare parts, or other items as assigned.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Conduct routine checks on fuel, oil, brakes, tyres, and other basic maintenance items.
- Report any vehicle issues or repairs needed to the supervisor.
- Maintain trip logs, mileage records, and fuel usage details.
- Follow all traffic rules and company safety policies.
- Ensure timely arrivals and departures according to schedules.
- Assist with other office or logistics tasks when required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10th Pass or equivalent qualification.
- Valid LMV driving license (additional license categories are an advantage).
- Prior driving experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Salem and nearby routes.
