Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing high-quality videos for digital platforms, social media, marketing campaigns, and promotional content. The candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos.
- Create videos for social media, YouTube, websites, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Add transitions, graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and background music.
- Perform color correction and basic audio enhancement.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand project requirements.
- Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines.
- Organize and maintain video assets and project files.
- Stay updated with current video editing trends and social media content formats.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation.
- Understanding of video formats, codecs, and exporting for different platforms.
- Experience with color grading and audio editing.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and storytelling ability.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Multimedia, Film, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in video editing (freshers with a strong portfolio may also apply).
- Portfolio showcasing previous editing work is mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Experience creating short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
- Knowledge of AI-powered editing tools.
- Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Experience with drone footage or multi-camera editing is an advantage.
