Hideaway Cafe is looking for a skilled and energetic Hookah & Service Associate to join our team. The primary focus of this role is preparing high-quality hookahs and delivering excellent customer service. Experience in crafting mocktails is a strong bonus, but secondary to your hookah-making and service skills. Key Responsibilities
- Hookah Preparation & Management: Expertly prepare, pack, and serve hookahs according to guest preferences. Monitor, change coals promptly, and maintain the hookah equipment to the highest hygiene standards.
- Guest Service: Welcome guests warmly, take food and beverage orders, serve items efficiently, and ensure a smooth, pleasant dining experience.
- Mocktail Assistance: Assist behind the bar to prepare and present refreshing mocktails when needed.
- Café Maintenance: Keep the seating and hookah preparation areas clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience in preparing and managing hookahs (different flavors, packing techniques, and coal management).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for excellent table service.
- Basic knowledge or experience in making mocktails/beverages is a major plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle evening/weekend shifts.
- A positive attitude and a team-player mindset.
