Basic design calculations for mechanical structures and machine components.3D modeling and drafting using SolidWorks.Design of structures considering static and dynamic loading conditions.Preparation of detailed engineering drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM).Motor calculation and selection as per torque, load, and duty cycle requirements.Selection of mechanical components based on application, manufacturing feasibility, cost, performance, and durability.2. Standards & Technical KnowledgeWorking knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).Understanding of industrial standards such as ANSI, JIS, DIN, ISO, etc.Knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.3. Design Review & ImprovementParticipate in internal design reviews.Suggest improvements to enhance product performance and reduce cost.Support troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during manufacturing and assembly.4. Customer CoordinationVisit customer sites to understand technical requirements.Prepare and submit DAP (Design Approval Process) files.Coordinate for drawing approvals and technical clarifications.Maintain good customer relationships.Provide project delivery updates and ensure adherence to timelines.Required Skills:Strong fundamentals in mechanics, machine design, and strength of materials.Proficiency in SolidWorks (2D & 3D drafting).Basic knowledge of motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatic systems.Good communication and presentation skills.Willingness to travel for customer visits.Preferred Skills:Internship or academic project experience in SPM / Automation.Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Understanding of cost estimation and material selection.
