Job Summary
The role involves managing spare parts operations, ensuring availability of genuine Tata Motors parts, and supporting workshop and retail requirements through efficient inventory and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day operations of the spare parts department
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure stock availability
- Procure genuine Tata Motors spare parts as per requirements
- Monitor stock movement, reorder levels, and aging inventory
- Coordinate with workshop/service team for timely parts supply
- Manage parts sales (counter and workshop billing)
- Maintain proper records in DMS/ERP systems
- Conduct periodic stock audits and ensure inventory accuracy
- Identify and reduce slow-moving or dead stock
- Ensure compliance with company and Tata Motors guidelines
Key Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of automobile spare parts (Tata Motors preferred)
- Inventory and store management skills
- Basic computer knowledge (ERP/DMS systems)
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational ability
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate / Diploma (Automobile / Mechanical / relevant field preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in spare parts/store operations (automotive industry preferred)

- Parts availability and fill rate
- Inventory accuracy
- Stock turnover ratio
- Order processing time
- Reduction in non-moving inventory
